Seeing...Double Double!

Last Sunday night the girls had a sleep over at Nanas. So I had some big kid-free time on Monday morning before I headed up to pick them up. I met up with my friend Jocelyn at Mimi's Cafe for a late breakfast!

I met Jocelyn last July sitting at the lab in IMC. We were both there for our glucose tests. I had the girls with me and Kaitlyn said something like "I want to sit by the babies". Jocelyn asked if she said babies, I said yes, and we discovered we were both expecting twin boys in October...our due dates were pretty close as well! We exchanged blogs and kept in touch for the rest of our pregnancy. She ended up having her boys the night before I had mine. So they are pretty close! It was fun to get to see eachother in the hospital. I can't believe that was almost 9 months ago. And we haven't gotten together since!

It was a lot of fun seeing her again and I hope to get together again before she moves! So at Mimi's we probably scared a lot of people. We had 2 double strollers, both with 2 car seats strapped on, and then we decided to put the boys in high chairs so we had 4 high chairs around our little table, with car seats and strollers all over the place! ;)

Here was what I saw...when I looked to the Right...my boys...
And when I looked to the Left....hers...Jake and Zack!
Julian decided to see what the table tasted like!
Breakfast was delicious!! Let me fill you in on something...you must go to Mimi's cafe website and sign up for their e-club! They were email you a coupon for FREE BREAKFAST...and you don't even have to buy anything! So Jocelyn and I both did that and they let both of us use our coupons! Their breakfast is so delicious! MMmmmmm. I am sad that I didn't get any pictures of her and I together, but I did get some of all the babies together!!

Look at all those handsome boys!! I can't believe her boys were bigger than mine though...because my little guys are huge! :)

Air Show

Last weekend Josh took the girls up to Hill Air Force Base for the airshow. They had so much fun and loved going on a little outing with their Daddy!

It was hilarious because I told the girls that they were going to an air show. That morning Jenica came into my room and asked..."Mom, have you been to the air show? Is it good? Is it a funny movie?" I love how they didn't quite get it...they kept talking about it like it was a movie!
I think this is Kaitlyns way of saying the planes were loud! :)
Glad the girls got a picture of Joshy!
And we have lots and lots of pictures (and videos) of airplanes...just picasa will only let me upload 4 at a time from my program and it's a pain to add more...so this is all you get)

New Stroller!!

I had been searching the classifieds to see what kind of a deal I could get on a double jogging stroller. I needed something a little easier to maneuver when I go on walks because my front/back one is just a pain if you want to go faster than super slow. :) I was about to make an offer on one and then remembered my sis in law used to have one so I asked her if she still had it. Lucky me, she did and she let me borrow it. But it hadn't been used for so long that all the tires were flat. So I took it into the bike shop where my brother in law works and he got them all checked out, filled up, and replaced one of the tubes. So my total cost was $6! They boys loooove riding next to eachother in it! And look how big my bubbas are getting!

Liberty Park

I decided to try something different this summer! Usually me and a couple friends go to lunch, usually on Wednesday. After going to a very chaotic McDonalds a couple weeks ago I decided I would LOVE to stay away from that mess. So I am going to take the kids to a different park every week to have a picnic and play! The first one was Liberty Park. It was a blast! We had a picnic and then the kids played around on the splash pad. They weren't too happy with it at first because there were TONS of older kids there for field trips and they were hogging the play area. So once they were gone they enjoyed it more!!

After a bit we walked around trying to see if there was any other water to play in. We found a cute pond with ducks and fish.
Then the kids came across this fountain and before we knew it they were ALL in it swimming around. It was funny...they wanted to swim so bad that we just let them go at it for a few minutes. To give you an idea...at one point there were 12 kids in there!

The day wouldn't be complete without delicious snow cones. There was a little stand at the end of the park by where we parked our cars. The enormous small cup was only $1.50. Kaitlyn cracked me up because she kept saying "I picked the messy kind...it keeps jumping of my cup all over me". Her legs were covered in rootbeer syrup. Jenica and Alicia didn't want to be too close to her for the picture even. So they were sitting on the clean side of the bench.
