Zoo

We are definitely keeping busy this summer!!  This morning I got a call first thing from my friend Aimee...she wanted to go to the zoo!  So we packed into the van and off we went!  It wasn't too hot, which was nice.  I got in free because she has a membership, the boys were free because they are under 3, and I had a coupon to save a little money on the girls tickets.  $10 for all of us isn't too bad I suppose!  :)  We had a great time!  Here's Kaitlyn, Jeni, and Kayla waiting to go in!
Kayla and Jeni
Aimee treated us all to a train ride.
We had a little lunch and played at the playground before we ventured off to see all the animals.  Here is my little turtle Kaitlyn.
We saw lots of animals, I took lots of pictures, but I don't feel like uploading them all.  Here are the boys enjoying the giraffes.  It was so funny to hear them squeal about every animal!
And here are the boys, all worn out, ornery, and ready to go home!  :)

Happy 4th of July!

We have had a busy busy weekend!  Tonight we went to Josh's parents for a BBQ and did some fireworks once it got dark.  The boys looooved the sparklers.  And the girls always love them!  :)

Kindergarten Graduate!

Friday was the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!  Which meant 1 thing for my little Kaitlyn!!  She was graduating from Kindergarten!  We got to go to her cute little graduation where they put on a cute little program singing us lots of songs!!  It was adorable, and of course I cried!  I am a mom, after all!  :)

Here are a few of my favorite songs for you all to enjoy!!

I posted these 2 just for you, Angie!!  :)  I must apologize for the not so great video job...we handed Jeni the camera and sent her to the side of the room for a better view!  lol  Oh well, at least we have it recorded!

Now on to the 1st grade!  How is that even possible?  We will miss you Mrs. R!

all too familiar

HILARIOUS! Simply put! As I was sitting here blogging my breakfast...I over heard my 6 year old Kaitlyn trying to put some pants on.

I glance over and she her jumping around as she sucks in, trying to get them to button!

Then she says "Man, these pants are getting way too small!"

Why yes, they are...she hasn't worn a size 18 MONTHS since 2005! lol She had found a pair of the boys jeans and thought they were shorts or something. I couldn't not get a picture to share with you all!

I have days like this, but unfortunately, they always seem to be my own pants!
