Noise!

So this picture appears to be 2 sleepy girls peacefully sleeping in their sleeping bags. Of course that is what you SEE, but too bad you couldn't HEAR what was going on in there! Josh went in on our way to bed and as soon as the door opened, out came the noise!! The movie was playing as loud as the tv would go, and Jeni had plugged in an alarm clock that was going off in there too. Who knows for how long...I just don't know how they were sleeping through it all!!

Watermelon

On the 4th of July we were at our friends house for a bbq and we let the boys try watermelon. They weren't too fond of it but last week they were watching me cut the watermelon, so I gave them both a big chunk to gnaw on. They seemed to like it, although they would only take a few bites out of a piece, throw it on the floor, and scream for more.

Bubbas

After naptime the other day I stood the boys up in their cribs so they could see each other. They were pretty happy with that! We still haven't lowered the mattresses yet because they still haven't pulled themselves up...they still haven't sat themselves up either. They are doing things slower than the girls ever did, but I'm ok with that. Once these boys really know how to move I am in big trouble!!

Messy Boys!

A couple days ago I was consumed with trying to make fish for the first time, so I asked Jenica if she would help with feeding the boys dinner for me! I was so happy when she said she would!! I had just pulled some squash out of the oven and pureed it up for them. The past couple days I have been trying to feed them more chunky stuff...like diced chicken, cantaloupe, etc, and letting them feed it to themselves. So I guess when the boys had enough of being fed with a spoon she decided they wanted to feed themselves and dumped a bunch of the pureed squash into their little trays.

I think they tried feeding it to themselves, but had more fun playing in it! Guess I can't blame the girl for helping me like I had asked! It sure was a mess to clean up, but it made for some fun pictures!! (the top pic: Julian on the L, Jonathan on the R, the 2 middle pics are Jonathan and the bottom one in Julian)

Josh & James

Ok, so yesterday I was going through old pictures yesterday and found this picture of Josh and I from my 19th birthday. I can't help but see Josh's youngest brother James in this picture. It kinda freaks me out. So I don't have any recent pictures of James, so I stole this picture off his girlfriends facebook page, it'll work. Guess the true test will be when James is 23...so we'll post this picture again with a pic of James in 4 years!
