How can you not love these laughs?

Jenica was playing with the bubbas today making them laugh like crazy! It was the cutest thing, I had to get a video of her, so I thought I would share!! The beginning is the best, it gets a little long, but I just love their little laughs!!

Spring Break Day 2

I already posted my haircut pictures. Tuesday (the 14th) I got up and drove back downtown to my sister in laws house. She had talked me into cutting my hair off and donating it. There is an Aveda salon close to her house, so she watched to kids while I went to my appointment. They have a new artist side that is only $15 for a cut (including scalp massage, wash, cut, and style). And since I was donating my hair, they take $15 off...so it was Free! Can't argue with that price. :)

After I was done I picked up the kids and headed over to Discovery Gateway (the childrens museum) to meet my friend Aimee and let the kids have some fun. We have never been there and the girls had a blast. Since there were so many pictures, he's some of my favorites from the day! (you can click to make it bigger...ooops...just realized that Jeni's head is cut off on the horse picture...hehe)

My Birthday...1st Day of Spring Break...

The 13th was my birthday...I am feeling old! A week before my birthday I spent the day at my parents because my mom would be in Hawaii on my birthday. So I told my dad that since he would be in town he could take me to lunch. And that he did. I dropped the girls off with my sister in law and went and picked up my dad from work and we went out to lunch at a chinese buffet down town. It was fun. And the funniest thing happened, when we were getting up to leave, a song came on...the music had been of a classical sort, and then this instrumental version of Happy Birthday started played. We both looked at eachother and started laughing. And then it turned really gloomy and almost had a funeral march feel to it, but still to the Happy Birthday tune. It was funny.
The plan was to go to the zoo with my sister in law and her kids, they live pretty close. But when we got there our plans changed. Their car had broken down the night before and their van was being taken to get registered so Haley had no car and we wouldn't all fit in my van. So we just hung out at her house and day and the kids played.
Did you know they make these baby swings like this for a reason? :)
And since it was my birthday I got to choose where to go for dinner. I picked Chilis. Guy and Haley and the kids came with us. When we were done eating I told our server that it was my birthday. All he said was "Well, Happy Birthday Miss" and walked off. What about my free dessert?! That's the best part of going out to eat on your birthday. He came back several times and never said anything. Me and my brother kept looking at eachother and laughing. He really wasn't going to bring me a treat. So Guy went to talk to someone and as soon as they were walking back, our server was right in front of him with this yummy cake! Of course I didn't eat it all myself...I let the girls have a few bites! :)

Easter

The bubba's first Easter! I just had to share one of my favorite pictures of my super smiley boys! I love it!
And here are all my cute kiddos in their Easter duds after church! Not the greatest picture of them all, but I love the face Jonathan is making! :)
And of course the girls needed their own shots as well! I can't believe how big they are getting! I was just looking at last years Easter pics (which Kaitlyn is doing the exact same pose).
Jeni is feeling a little old to have me make her pose in her Easter dress.

Easter was a bit different for us this year. Usually we have plans with the extended family for a big dinner. It just happened to be the day my Mom flew to Hawaii to visit my brothers family. We had plans to do something with Josh's family, but they rushed out of town on the Thursday before to make a quick trip to California. So I thought I would invite over another brothers family and my Dad. But they both already had plans with other family. So I just decided to do something with my own little family. But the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to have a big nice dinner, and this year it was up to me. So nothing like going to Smith's the night before and getting all the groceries needed to make a nice meal. I invited over Josh's siblings. I played mom this year! I was so proud of myself! The menu included a spiral cut honey ham, scalloped potatoes (made from freshly diced potatoes...none of those frozen ones for me, thanks), seven layer salad, and the most delicious strawberry shortcake ever made for dessert.

on losing teeth...

Although she has already lost 2 teeth previously, this time was different! This was her first experience with losing a tooth herself. Remember, nearly a year ago she had "shark teeth" and had to get her 2 bottom teeth pulled (you can read about that here)!

So the day before Easter was quite eventful. After much wiggling...
And pulling...
...and wiggling and pulling some more...(this was her pushing her tooth all the way forward with her tongue...)
...it was finally out!! She screamed and ran off to the bathroom to get toilet paper to stop the bleeding. And here is one excited girl!! :)

a little break...

Last night I was supposed to go out with a friend, but things didn't work out. I had gotten my hopes up to having a little me time that I starting trying to think of someone I could call that would just want to go get some dessert and chat. So I called Amy...

I can't tell you the last time I really got to have some girl time with this lady friend of mine! We have known eachother since we were 11...I had just moved to Utah and we were in the same ward. We thought we were pretty cool that we shared the same last name. And in 9th grade we even convinced some boys that we were twins. So last night we met at wingers and enjoyed a whopping 2 1/2 hours chatting and remembering. It was so much fun! We don't get to see eachother nearly enough. Thanks for the fun time Amy!

who needs a title?

Nothing new going on here! The kids are growing way too fast. They are all so cute, I love 'em all so much! This last weekend was fun! On friday I had a little girls night out. Me and my friends Tamara and Barbara went to Mimi's Cafe and got desserts...we were going to go bowling also, but I think we were all too tired and came home! We didn't get out until almost 9 because I had to put the babies to bed first! It was still fun to get out and have some me time! Saturday we watched/listened to conference...it was a little tricky because we don't have TV anymore...so I had to play it off the internet. It worked really well though, there were 2 places online that were streaming the video, so that was nice!! Between sessions we went to my parents house to celebrate my dads birthday and my nephews 8th birthday. We had a big dinner and then the boys went to preisthood and we stayed with my mom and played. Here are some pictures I got of my cute kids on Saturday! I love how Jonathan is grabbing Kaitlyns face. So cute!
