We put him in the bed around 7pm. He did alright. I just sucked because he could only wear his diaper and then he was put in a little sack like thing that was attached to the bed with an opening for his head to be out. We were only supposed to take him out to feed him or change his diaper. When we went to bed we put the bed in the bassinet in our room. This is when all the fun started.
He HATED it!! He cried and cried and we had to keep giving him his binkie. I felt sooo bad. He was so sad! :( Finally at 3:30 am none of us had gotten any sleep...so we decided to take him our for a few hours so we could get some rest. I fed him for about 5 minutes and he was out!! He slept for 4 1/2 straight hours. Poor guy was so exhausted. We put him back in the bed around 8:30 for a little bit and then I took him back to the hospital to get his blood checked. He went back in the bed when we got home and then a few minutes later the dr called and said his levels had gone down and to stop using the bed. But I needed to take him back again on Saturday morning to get checked to make sure the bilirubin was still going down on its own.
So yesterday I took him in and the dr called and it was still going down! YAY! No more torturing my poor boys heels!!

That picture is awesome. So glad you don't have to do that anymore. Hopefully you can all get more sleep now!
Oh, poor guy. We had to do the Beli bed for Belle. So I totally know what you went through. It was the worst night ever. Trying to keep her warm and everything. It was not a great experience. Good thing we only had to do it the one night, and the next day we took her in and she was doing much better. Let's hope for more sleep now, right. ;)
