above Emerald Bay

After we were done at Emerald Bay we kept driving up the California side for a bit. We ran into a neighborhood up on the mountain. We don't know if people actually live there or if they are all vacation homes. So we drove through all these houses and kept taking the roads up and up and up until we couldn't go up the mountain any more. The view was beautiful, the pictures don't do it any justice! It was really steep and we were really up there...I wish the pictures illustrated that. So with the camera out of commission...it was a little difficult to do a self picture with the phone. It took a couple tries to get us both in the picture! :)
