all too familiar

HILARIOUS! Simply put! As I was sitting here blogging my breakfast...I over heard my 6 year old Kaitlyn trying to put some pants on.

I glance over and she her jumping around as she sucks in, trying to get them to button!

Then she says "Man, these pants are getting way too small!"

Why yes, they are...she hasn't worn a size 18 MONTHS since 2005! lol She had found a pair of the boys jeans and thought they were shorts or something. I couldn't not get a picture to share with you all!

I have days like this, but unfortunately, they always seem to be my own pants!

Duct Tape?

Julian has decided he doesn't like diapers anymore. At least when he isn't dressed he prefers to just be naked. Here is how I found his this morning! Note the diaper laying on the floor.

And then just a little bit ago I found him sitting on the floor like this...right next to his diaper! LOL

So maybe I should start taping his diaper on? Or I could just stop being lazy and put some clothes on the poor kid!

I was going through some old pictures and found this one and me and my brothers, during a trip to Utah in 1985! We're awesome!

My Handsome Boys!

This morning I got some cute pics of my handsome little boys and look how grown up they look! Josh did a great job with the haircuts, especially since they were thrashing about and screaming the whole time!

And I just had to share this adorable pic of Jonathan on the zebra!
And then Julian tried to pull him off of it!!

Hair Cuts!

Time for some hair cuts! The boys hair is getting long, you can pretty much pull it into a little ponytail in the back! So...Josh broke out the clippers and went to town!

Sidewalk Art!

Kaitlyn got some sidewalk chalk for her birthday and has loved every second of using it all over the sidewalk, driveway, and porch! Today it looked like it was going to rain, so I decided I better get some pics of my favorites before they are gone for ever.

I call this one "I wot a pupy" :) So freaking cute!

This one here cracks me up. Let me explain. At first she showed me a picture of 2 babies, and told me one was her and one was Julian. I told her they were darling and tried to get her to get in the car because we needed to leave. She told me to hang on because "now I am going to draw a picture of you nursing these babies" LOL Luckily I changed her mind about that one and she just drew me (non-exposed) instead! Thanks Kaitlyn!
And this one is cute because she drew this picture and wrote From Kari To Kaitlyn. Guess she felt like someone needed to draw a picture for her...and the only way that was going to happen was the pretend I did.

Outside at Last!

I am SO ready for warm weather! Today was pretty nice. Obviously. The boys are even wearing shorts! Which I must add...I am glad they were so chubby last summer because they can still fit in all the clothes I bought them last year! :)

Since the boys were so little last summer and not mobile, any time spent outside was either in a stroller or plopped on a blanket! Now they are big enough to run and play. I got this cute little playset at a yard sale last fall! I'm so glad I got it because now they are big enough to use it!!

Happy Birthday Love!

Today Josh turns the big 3-2! Happy Birthday Joshy, my Love!!

As you all know, I have an obsession with all things cake! Last night I sorta taught a little cake decorating class for relief society, I wasn't so great, but the pro lady that came, was. She showed all sorts of awesome frosting creations. I copied her frog and tried it myself. I think he turned out pretty cute! Not bad for a first try, if the green frosting color was better I think it would look much better! Still pretty proud of it!

We went to Joy Luck for dinner with Josh's family! After dinner we sang and had cake. Josh decided not to wait for a plate and dug right in...face first!

More Campbells!

Tonight we went to my parents for one last big family get together before my brother Willy and his two oldest boys head back to Hawaii (Angie and the two youngers will stay for another week or so). I had got these cute vests for the boys and my mom fell in love with them!! I showed her online that they even had matching dresses for the girls. So yesterday after the baptism my mom stopped by the mall and picked up dresses and vests so that all the kids matched! Thanks mom! We had a great big photo shoot before dinner!

We had a great time visiting and hanging out, I'm sad that I don't get to see Willy again for...who knows how long...I can make that time shorter by saving some money and not being a chicken and getting on a plane and going to Hawaii to see them! Hmmm...October would be nice...it'll be our 10th anniversary!! :)

Baptism Day!

Today my baby girl was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! It was a fabulous morning! There are so many kids in our ward/stake that they do stake baptisms, and since there were 20 kids getting baptized that day they split it into 2 sessions. There were 4 kids from our ward alone. Wow!

Baking Beauties!

Tomorrow is Jenica's baptism! I have soooo much to do! We are having everyone over afterwards for refreshments (appetizers and desserts). Jeni was such a huge help with all the baking, now if only it wasn't so late so she could help me with the clean-the-house efforts...

Kangaroo Zoo

I didn't get many pictures from our adventure at Kangaroo Zoo, but at least I got one of the best pictures of all time. lol Priceless! Nothing else to say!!

I could write about all the rude inconsiderate people we came across while we were there, though! Let's start with the couch...my mom and sister in law Angie had been there for a bit with the kids and had been hanging out on one of the couches, with all their stuff (coats, purses, etc). When I got there with the boys they got up for a minute, leaving all their stuff on the couch, kind of showing that it was taken. Then this lady walks over to it and starts picking up all their stuff and moving it and plops herself down, with her husband, and all their junk. RUDE. So my mom walks over and moves her stuff! So we pull up some chairs and sit next to the couch and chat while this lady is now sprawled across the couch, with her feet up so no one can sit. So my mom watches and as soon as there is a little space, she jumps back onto the couch. Guess you just had to be there. And then we wanted to get a picture of my mom and all the kids like this:
We have one on the same inflatable each time we have gone! There were a couple kids that we had to ask to stay off for just a minute so we could get the picture...including a lady and a little boy. But as soon as we got all the kids quickly posed, the lady threw the little boy up into our group. What the heck is wrong with people? She knew what we were doing, yet didn't seem to care enough to hang onto him for a second!

sleepover!

Since the kids don't have school tomorrow we thought it was the perfect opportunity to get all the cousins together for a sleepover at my parents house. So today I took the kids up, and we got a non chaotic picture of my parents with the kids before I headed home with the boys! Nana's rule was that you had to be 4 to sleep over. So at least that made for 3 less kids that stayed. What a great looking bunch of kids! :)

Tomorrow we are going to Kangaroo Zoo! I'll be sure to post some pics!

Campbells!!

Tonight was the first time in a LONG. TIME. that my entire family was together!! The last time was in July '08...and I was 5 months pregnant with the twins! My brothers family moved to Hawaii. This was the first time they have been back to the main land! :)

We are soooo excited they are in town and that we were all able to get together tonight for cake and icecream! Looking forward to what the next couple weeks will bring as we get to see eachother!! :)
